My enlarged
prostate gland was an 'inside job .. what do I mean by
that?
Well, there are actually two ways a prostate gland
'enlarges'.

Increases
The total mass of the prostate can increase and
the entire organ will increase in size .... this
is why the doctor does the famous *let me stick
my greasy finger up you butt* exam (called
the Digital Rectal Exam or DRE) all
men experience at some point.
Through the
rectum, the doctor can actually feel the size of
the prostate.

An *Inside*
Job
The overall
size of the prostate can remain relatively
unchanged and feel normal from the outside
(via a digital rectal exam [DRE]) ... but
the *inside* of the prostate enlarges and
squeezes or *pinches* the urethra resulting
in all of the same *symptoms* of an enlarged
prostate ....
this
is what happened to me.
The prostate *enlarges* on the inside
only... this is what happened to me and made
in unwise for me to consider microwave
radiation treatments to shrink my prostate.
